An Under Cover Cup

Story Time! If you listened to this week’s episode (Episode 37 - Corruption in the Death Industry), you heard us mention a story about a drawing Ace did when he worked for me eleventy billion years ago at a video game store.

At this video game store, we had company programming playing constantly, but it was in a one-ish hour loop. We would hear the same things over and over and over. If you’ve worked…..almost anywhere, you’re probably familiar. During this time of eleventy billion years ago, there was a trailer for a game called Sleeping Dogs. At the end of this trailer, one dude pleads with this other dude to realize that they are cops and that there a rules! The other guy says YOU’RE A COP! I’m an UNDERCOVER COP. The rules are different! And it just became this thing we would quote along every time it came on. (What? We worked retail. We had to amuse ourselves somehow.)

Ace had this habit of making amazing drawings instead of like…working. They were all truly awesome. I wish I still had more of them, but I only took one when I left that store. And it was this one:
