Welcome back, dear listener. Life is returning to a state of normalcy (as normal as can be expected at least), the girls resume their usual two-topic format today by bringing you... well, death. Today you're getting a whole lotta death.
Nylene kicks us off with a story about a spree killer who, somewhat surprisingly, isn't from our own neck of the woods - Mutsuo Toi. Once simply a sickly son, Mutsuo would later be known as the sick, sick man who perpetrated the Tsuyama Massacre in Kamo, Japan.
Nym then brings us on a morbidly apropos journey into the history of the Victorian death cult. While not quite as dramatic as it may sound off the cuff, the habits and traditions that marked the compellingly creepy period were full of interesting precursors to many of our current day traditions.
Haunting tales, to be sure... but for us? It's just another average day in the cottage…
