Feliz Navidad, dear listeners! Or maybe it would be more appropriate to say - Afishapa! Afenhyia pa! ... That's Akan (or Twi) for "Happy Christmas", of course.
On our final episode of the Nightmare Cottage Tent of 2025, Nym and Nylene are getting cozy by the metaphorical fire with some good ol' fashioned folk lore. Today it's all about the cunning, creative, and chaotic trickster god of West Africa - Anansi!
Sometimes a man, sometimes a spider, but always iconic - Nym's taking us through a few of the tales surrounding the being who would go on to become a symbol of resistance for the peoples of the carribean.
Thank you for tuning in this year, dear listeners! We'll see you in 2026!
